Chase authorized user settings

Confirm Chase authorized-user access before connecting or reconnecting accounts, resulting in the right Chase accounts appearing in Truewind.

Workflow

Step 1

Open Account Management > Access & Security Manager

Start in Truewind on Bookkeeping > Bank Transactions. Go to Account Management > Access & Security Manager.

Step 2

Manage the authorized user

Create a new authorized user or update an existing one before granting Chase third-party access.

Step 3

Enable Third-Party App Access

Turn on Chase third-party access for the same user so Truewind can authenticate the bank connection.

Step 4

Grant General Services access

Give the user General Services access on every account Truewind needs; missing accounts will block the connection.

What this helps prevent

Using the wrong Chase login or an account without the needed permissions can block connection, hide expected accounts, or force a later reconnect.

What to verify after setup

  • The connected Chase accounts appear in Truewind.
  • Any prior reauthorization warning is cleared.
  • The accounts you expected to sync are available for review.
