Remove or disable bank accounts

Disable or remove bank accounts when they should stop participating in active review, resulting in the correct active account set for the team.

Workflow

Step 1

Click Bank Transactions, go to Bank Feed

Start in Truewind on Bookkeeping > Bank Transactions, then click on Bank Transactions, go to Bank Feed

Step 2

Open the row menu

Use the bank-account row menu to find removal actions without leaving the list.

Step 3

Choose Remove

Use this action only when the bank feed should stop importing and disappear from the transaction workflow.

Step 4

Confirm removal

Finish the removal after you confirm this feed should no longer import transactions into Truewind.

Step 5

Confirm the bank feed is removed

The feed disappears from the transaction page after removal; reconnect it only if you want imports to resume.

Step 6

Connect the bank account through Plaid

Complete this action so inactive bank feeds stop appearing in the transaction workflow.

Before you disable an account

Confirm no one still relies on that bank account for ongoing transaction review, reconciliation, or reauthorization work.
