Upload and Match Supporting Documents to Bank Transactions

Use the current supporting-documents and transaction detail workflows to attach the right document to a bank transaction.

Workflow

Setup workflow

Step 1

Open the supporting-documents workflow

Go to the current supporting-documents workflow for the organization so you can review transactions awaiting documents.

Step 2

Choose the transaction that needs a document

Select the bank or card transaction that needs documentation so the upload panel opens.

Step 3

Add the supporting document

Upload the file or add the supported document link in the current document workflow for that transaction.

Step 4

Confirm the document is linked to the transaction

Review the transaction document section and make sure the expected document now appears on the transaction.

Before you upload

Make sure the selected transaction is the one that actually needs documentation, especially when several similar transactions are waiting in the same queue.
