Configure the needed fixed-assets subaccounts and then register the asset or schedule using the current Fixed Assets workflows.
Workflow
Step 1
Go to the Settings tab in Fixed Assets so you can review the predefined subaccounts for asset posting.
Step 2
In the subaccounts settings, configure the accounts needed for the non-depreciation workflow your team wants to support.
Step 3
Open Create Asset or the relevant registration workflow after the account setup is saved.
Step 4
Complete the registration flow and confirm the new asset uses the account structure you just configured.
