Create a Prepaid Expense Schedule for Bills

Use the current Identification workflow to create a prepaid schedule when the underlying transaction came from a bill-related expense.

Setup workflow

Step 1

Open Prepaid Expenses > Identification

Go to the Identification tab so you can review candidate transactions for the selected prepaid account and month.

Step 2

Find the bill-related transaction

Locate the bill transaction that should turn into a prepaid schedule rather than remain a one-period expense.

Step 3

Start Create Schedule

Use the Create Schedule action from the transaction row to open the current schedule form.

Step 4

Save the schedule details

Complete the schedule form and save it so the bill-related transaction is tracked through the prepaid workflow.

Good follow-up check

After saving, confirm the transaction is no longer waiting in Identification as an untracked prepaid candidate.
