Post Amortization JE to QuickBooks

Use the current Prepaid Expenses reporting workflow to post amortization journal entries after you review the schedule terms for the selected month.

Workflow

Setup workflow

Step 1

Open the Reporting tab

Go to Prepaid Expenses and switch to Reporting so you can review schedules and terms for the selected prepaid account and month.

Step 2

Review the terms that are ready to post

Use the current month and schedule table to confirm the amortization terms you expect are ready for posting.

Step 3

Use Post Journal Entries

Select Post Journal Entries from the Reporting actions to open the amortization posting workflow.

Step 4

Confirm the posting result

Complete the posting flow and verify the schedules now reflect the expected posted state before checking QuickBooks.

Before posting

Make sure the month picker is set correctly and the schedules in view are the ones you intend to post.
