Add a Truewind JE Book in Sage

Create the journal book that Truewind should use in Sage Intacct, then confirm it is available in current Truewind settings.

Setup workflow

Step 1

Open journal book setup in Sage Intacct

In Sage Intacct, go to the journal book configuration area where your team manages posting books.

Step 2

Create the Truewind journal book

Add the dedicated journal book your team wants Truewind to use and save it with the naming convention approved for your org.

Step 3

Open Organization Settings in Truewind

In Truewind, go to Organization Settings and open the Sage Intacct Configuration section.

Step 4

Choose the new default journal

Select the journal you created from the Default Journal picker, then save the setting.

Step 5

Confirm Truewind can use the journal book

Reopen the journal selector or continue the related Sage workflow to make sure the new book is available.

Why this matters

The default journal setting controls where supported Truewind activity posts in Sage Intacct, so it should be reviewed before close workflows rely on it.
