Workpaper Agent / Studio

Delegate a checklist task to Workpaper Agent

Delegate a checklist task to Workpaper Agent when it needs workbook-based follow-up, resulting in a fresh Studio run with the task context already seeded.

Workflow

Setup workflow

Step 1

Open the checklist task details

Open the exact month-close task detail view you want to hand off to Workpaper Agent.

Step 2

Review the current task attachments

Confirm the files you want copied into Studio are already attached to the task before you delegate it.

Step 3

Review the task comments and instructions

Check the task description, AI instructions, and comments first because the current delegation flow snapshots that context into Studio.

Step 4

Click Delegate to Workpaper Agent

Start the delegation from the Workpaper Agent card in the task detail view instead of assigning the task to a person.

Step 5

Wait for the linked Studio workpaper to be created

Let the delegation finish creating the new Studio workpaper and copying the task attachments before trying to open it.

Step 6

Click Open Studio

Open the newly linked Studio workpaper once the delegation card shows that the run was created.

Step 7

Review the prefilled task context in Studio

Read the prefilled prompt first because the current delegation flow seeds the task context but does not auto-send it.

Step 8

Send the first Studio message

Edit the seeded prompt if needed, then send it when you are ready to begin the delegated work.

What delegation does

The current delegation flow snapshots task context into a new Studio run. It does not keep syncing later checklist changes into the delegated workpaper automatically.
