Create a New Bank Account in Bank Connections

Add a new bank account from the Bank Accounts connection flow when more accounts need to come into scope, resulting in a new row ready for mapping and review.

Workflow

Setup workflow

Step 1

Open Connections and choose Bank Accounts

Go to Connections and switch to the Bank Accounts tab.

Step 2

Review the import date window

Set the starting and ending dates that should be used when the new bank account begins syncing into Truewind.

Step 3

Connect the institution

Use the embedded Plaid flow or the Finicity fallback to connect the new bank account.

Step 4

Choose the accounts to bring into Truewind

In the external connection flow, select the specific bank accounts that should be added for this organization.

Step 5

Confirm the new bank account appears in the table

Return to Truewind and verify the new bank account appears with the expected name, balance context, and status.

Next step after creation

After the account appears, finish any required chart-of-accounts mapping so the Bank Transactions workflow can use it.
