Field Marketing

San Francisco, CA

Please apply by emailing your resume/CV to hiring@trytruewind.com with the subject line: [Role Title] - [Your Name].

Truewind is building AI-powered accounting. We help accounting teams and firms automate manual work, close faster, and operate with stronger accuracy and control.

We're hiring someone in Field Marketing to help shape how Truewind shows up in the market.

This role sits across go-to-market, events, partnerships, and execution. The scope is intentionally broad. This person will help build how we create in-person demand and trust in the accounting ecosystem, not just execute inside a narrow lane.

This is a seat close to decisions and close to outcomes. You'll work alongside leadership, sales, and growth to help turn market presence into pipeline. The work will not always be neatly packaged, but it will matter.

We're open to candidates with 2+ years of experience, but what matters more than pedigree is slope: curiosity, intensity, sound judgment, and a clear desire to build something meaningful over the long term.

What you will do

This role sits at the intersection of field marketing and execution. That means the scope will shift as the company evolves, but it will likely include:

  • Planning and running events, dinners, roundtables, and other in-person programs
  • Helping decide where Truewind should show up and how we should show up
  • Working with sales to turn events and market presence into qualified pipeline
  • Supporting partner and ecosystem programs across the accounting and finance landscape
  • Managing event logistics end-to-end, from concept through follow-up
  • Building repeatable playbooks so strong programs become a system, not a one-off
  • Identifying what is working, what is not, and iterating quickly

Who are we looking for

  • 2+ years of experience in field marketing, events marketing, partnerships, demand generation, or a related go-to-market role
  • Thrive in ambiguity and instinctively bring structure to messy problems
  • Prefer owning outcomes over waiting for perfectly defined tasks
  • Move fluidly between strategy and execution
  • Have strong attention to detail and follow-through
  • Communicate with polish and good judgment
  • Use AI and modern tools as leverage, not novelties
  • Operate faster than average because you automate, ship, and iterate
  • Care about impact more than titles or perfectly defined swim lanes
  • Want a steep growth curve and meaningful responsibility
  • Ultimately aspire to build, lead, or start something significant

Nice to have

  • Experience marketing to accountants, controllers, CFOs, or finance teams
  • Experience running executive dinners, roundtables, or customer events
  • Experience working with partners or ecosystem marketing
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing systems that support event follow-up and attribution

If you believe you're a strong fit for this role but do not meet every qualification above, we encourage you to apply anyway.

What we offer

  • $70,000-$90,000 target cash compensation, inclusive of base salary and target bonus
  • Equity in a fast-growing startup
  • Bonus tied to broader company goals
  • In-office collaboration in San Francisco

Actual compensation will depend on experience, qualifications, and scope of the role. In exceptional cases, offers may fall outside this range.

This role is designed for someone who wants real responsibility early, accelerated growth, and a front-row seat to excellent execution. If that excites you more than anything, please apply.
